The BibleGateway Bible App.

Another great resource to have for Bible translations is BibleGateway. Just like YouVersion, they offer a huge list of Bible translations in a wide assortment of languages.

Although both carry a lot of the same Bible translations, they both also offer translations that each other don’t have. Having both of these Bible applications broadens your Bible library. Including different types of study plans, study tools, information and more.

YouVersion Bible App

The eSword Bible App.

eSword is not your ordinary Bible app. It’s a powerful study tool. When you download the app, you start with a small handful of Bible translations, one of which is the KJV with a Concordance. Each word is linked to a database which displays the original Hebrew or Greek, it’s definition and how many places the word is used within Scripture – with a simple click of the mouse.

As you study the Word of God, you can make notes, read commentaries, compare translations and even perform specific word searches within the Bible to find verses. It is an amazing tool to use to help dive deeper into the context of the content. And the best part, it’s all free.
